In this content marketing role, I executed customer-facing copywriting to aid customer understanding of marketing automation software. I managed the republishing process of revamping old blog posts with updated company tone, technical concepts, and statistics. Most importantly, I emphasized conversational copywriting in the republishing process to establish a friendly, minimally technical company tone.

In addition to updating the blog's copy, I integrated an SEO strategy to optimize web searches and placement. This strategy included conducting research through Semrush to determine the strongest keywords for the meta description, tags, and general body text.

Edulastic | Digital Marketing Intern

As a digital marketing intern, I spearheaded the back-to-school blog campaign to prepare teachers for their first remote school year (2020-2021). I dedicated my summer to writing informative copy on how to utilize Edulastic's digital assessment features best while incorporating SEO strategy and analyzing competitor content.

Edulastic's blog content was driven by its customers—teachers. Therefore, many of my samples are dedicated to showcasing Edulastic's features, just in time for the school year. My typical writing process was as follows: figure out how the technology-enhanced question works, conceptualize the technology in conversational writing, and send it to the editor for a revisions process. Through rounds of revisions and open feedback, my editor and I discussed ways to increase the customers' understanding of a certain product feature while adhering to brand voice and style. 

Channel Islands YMCA Association | Digital Marketing Intern

At the YMCA Association offices, I wrote digital copy to cater to the seven YMCA branches that fell under the Channel Islands branch. Here, I refocused the Y's digital efforts to incorporate SEO and segmentation strategy.
